Description
Upon completing this course, students will be able to apply their knowledge of computer aided design (CAD), computer numerical control (CNC), robotics, computer assisted manufacturing (CAM), programmable logic controllers, automated guided vehicles (AGV), and computer integrated manufacturing (CIM).
Standards
SCSh7. Students will analyze how scientific knowledge is developed.
SCSh3. Students will identify and investigate problems scientifically.
SCSh6. Students will communicate scientific investigations and information clearly.
MM3P3. Students will communicate mathematically.
MM3P4. Students will make connections among mathematical ideas and to other disciplines.
Required Supplies
1. Pencil and eraser (can also have pen for taking notes-not required).
2. Small 3 ring notebook to keep handouts.
Grading
Coursework will be graded as follows;
Daily work and work ethics 35%
Projects 45%
Final Exam 20%
